Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation laid the foundation for establishment of integrated solar power system station in Sheikh Zayed City 1 in Setro, which would generate 215kw aiming at provision of clean power for Zayed City 1.
In the ceremony of foundation, Sheikh Ali bin Essa bin Afrar, Head of Development Committee at Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, assured that this project was within the developmental and service projects implemented by Khalifa Foundation in the Archipelago in order to promote the level of services in many districts including Zayed City 1.
Furthermore, Sheikh Abdullah Salim, Sheikh of Zayed City 1, commended the support of the United Arab Emirates to the city for provision of the necessary service requirements. He highlighted that such project of alternative power would be a great addition to the city in order to meet its power needs.
