Yesterday, Khalifa Foundation launched distribution of special bags for palms covering to avoid falling due to storms during this season. It was distributed with presence of Sultan Ali bin Essa bin Afrar, the head of the Development Committee, members of the committee, identifiers of the residential districts, and number of farmers.
Engineer Eyad Ali Abdellah, Agriculture Engineer at Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that 25,000 bags were distributed for palms covering for the third time this year in line with support of Khalifa Foundation to farmers. He also indicated that the Foundation encouraged the farmers to concern with the palms and their products.
Sheikh Saleh Salem, Identifier of Shata District, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the great concern.
