The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has launched a project to construct new housing units in Socotra as part of its efforts to support families in the governorate.
Where the Foundation began work to establish 29 integrated housing units for the people of the areas of Al-Horhar and Arshani in the southern coastal strip of the island, out of a total of 52 modern housing units.
An official source said that the project would contribute to a large extent in helping families in both Al-Hohar and Arshani in finding safe houses with all basic services.
It was worth noting that the housing units consist of 3 rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a council, in addition to the establishment of a sewage network.
The citizen Abdullah Noah Saeed expressed his happiness with this gift offered by the Khalifa Foundation, which is of great importance in owning a safe and modern home.. Expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for this generous donation, as well as to all the sheikhs of the Emirates for their humanitarian stances towards the archipelago.
The citizen Ali Issa in Al-Hoharr expressed his sincere gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for the assistance and development projects it provided, saying, “Today, we are standing in front of a project to construct housing units for the people of my areas in Al-Hohar and Arshani, which contributes to enhancing social and family stability for the people of the region.”
