Khalifa Foundation sent an exploratory flight over Socotra, with instructions of His Excellency Khalfan bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, to check the damages resulting from rain, which lasted for three days.
The flight started from Socotra International Airport and passed by Haibaq, which was blocked again after its reopening by Khalifa Foundation. In addition, the flight passed over Hadiboh and east coast of the Island.
Khalifa Foundation arranged all means of sheltering, helping and transporting to overcome the challenges of the tropical cyclone Bhavan and help the people and reopen the damaged roads across Socotra.
The machines of Khalifa Foundation works hard and constantly to remove rocks and sand in Haibaq and salba Al Wadi between Hadiboh and Mosaqba to open them after being blocked due to rain.
