Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continued its works of expanding Haibaq road, west Socotra, by removing sand and rock accumulations that blocked the road after the tropical depression, Bhavan, which hit the Island during the last months.
Khalifa Foundation concerned with Haibaq road since it was an important and strategic road and the only road to Hadiboh and Socotra Airport, west Socotra.
Khalifa Foundation also refurbished and maintained many roads in Socotra after being blocked and destructed due to rains and tropical depressions.
