The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation handed over the Department of Education, Socotra and schools the first batch of study blackboards.
The team of the Khalifa Foundation on the island distributed a batch of 60 whiteboards.
The Director General of the Education Office, Ahmed Khaled, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for its continuous support to the education sector in the archipelago.
For his part, the Director of Public Education in the Office of Education in Socotra Governorate, Salma Saeed Qabalan, praised the continuous giving of the Khalifa Foundation for the Advancement of the Education Sector and the provision of its basic requirements such as support for contractors and teachers, the recruitment of professors in various scientific disciplines and school buses, and opening a new horizon for the Socotra student.
The Director of General Education indicated that the Khalifa Foundation played a major role in solving many difficulties, including solving the problem of the lack of educational staff by contracting with teachers to fill the shortage, providing the curriculum and transportation for students, which is a basic support that maintains the continuity and stability of the educational process.
