Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation launched distribution of food assistance to people of 14th October in the capital Hadiboh, which included rice, sugar, flour, oil, salt, and dates, and from which 929 families benefited.
During launch of distribution of the assistance, Raafat Al Theqali, Head of the Southern Transitional Council, commended the great effort afforded by teams of Khalifa Foundation in distribution of food assistance to all families across the Socotra Archipelago.
In turn, Salem Daheq, Member of the Development Committee at Khalifa Foundation, mentioned that launch of distribution of food assistance to families in 14th October was in line with the continuous effort in helping all people across the Archipelago. He asserted that this would make people of Socotra happy.
Abdel Kareem Salem bin Qablan expressed his happiness for arrival of the food assistance, which would help in elimination of suffering of people.
Citizen Saad Ahmed expressed his happiness for arrival of the food assistance vehicles, which would contribute to providing essentials to all people across Socotra.
