Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continued its campaign for sterilization of public streets in Socotra Archipelago for prevention against COVID-19.
During the second day of the campaign, it targeted the main streets of Hadiboh by spraying water and sterilization materials to ensure street hygiene.
Emergency teams carrying out the campaign afforded great efforts in cleaning and sterilizing streets, which made it beautiful and clean by removing dust and dirt covering asphalt.
In this regard, Socotra Online met many residents seeking their views on the campaign. Mohamed Salem Al Salmehi said that sterilization of streets in these circumstances around the world after the outbreak of COVID-19 was a pleasing initiative within the preventive efforts of this virus.
Furthermore, Mr. Saleh Jamaan stated the great efforts afforded by Khalifa Foundation to protect Socotra from COVID-19 and society awareness-raising to ensure Socotra safety.
Mahdi Salem expressed his thanks to the United Arab Emirates for such humanitarian activities carried out in Socotra, including sterilization of street of the capital today highlighting that such activities were within the extent of concern with safety of the people in Socotra.
