Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continued sending Ramadan food assistance vehicles for different areas across Socotra aiming at helping the people in arrangement of food requirements for this holy month.
For the second time, the food assistance vehicles of Khalifa Foundation arrived to the west coast areas in Socotra in order to complete its mission in supporting the people with total of 247 families in five districts (Gheba, Alama, Qashro, Qatana, and Gardehn).
Socotra Online reflected the happiness and joy of the people for arrival of food assistance. Faiz Abdullah Salem, Sheikh of Gheba district, assured that the support of the United Arab Emirates was continuous and had a positive effect on the people in relation with arrangement of their food requirements.
Sheikh Said Suliman bin Qathen, Sheikh of Alama district, praised the role of the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the continuous humanitarian support to the people of the district in different service and aid projects, which reflected with positivity on the people.
Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Qashri expressed his happiness for arrival of the food vehicles to their districts and highlighted the importance of this assistance for the needy people in relation with arrangement of requirements for Ramadan. He thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the effort in Socotra and concern with development of the Archipelago.
