In line with the daily preventive program developed by Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Management with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the teams carried out fighting operations against the novel coronavirus epidemic through sterilization and disinfection to prevent spread of insect-borne diseases and epidemics in addition to visitors’ awareness-raising.
This sterilization operations were in line with the preventive measures taken by the Hospital Management aiming at protection from insect-borne diseases and epidemics in addition to sterilization of entrances and exits of the Hospital daily, twice a day at night and day shifts.
Sheikh Khalifa Hospital was considered as the sole medical center that provided the people of Socotra with integrated medical services.
