The Development Committee of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation checked the requirements of the people of Debena in relation with the water project.
Salem Daheq, Member at Development Committee of Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that their visit was in line with instructions of His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, in relation with visiting the project site.
He added that the project would be completed on two phases, as the first phases started with providing an electrical generator to pump water and maintenance of the old generator in addition to linking to the new line of Qabehen and the mosque.
The second phase would include construction of a huge tank with high quality and solar power system to pump water in addition to expanding and deepening the well.
In this regard, Jamaan Ahmed Mohamed commended the role of Khalifa Foundation in relation with implementation of the service projects that meet needs of the people in the region. He highlighted that the district suffered from frequent cut off due to generator malfunction.
