Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and the Emirates Red Crescent continued distribution of food and clothes for the people in different places in Socotra, as the team distributed the aids to the people of the Golden Square in Mumi District, east Socotra, from which 145 families were benefited.
These aids included basic foodstuff such as (rice, sugar, oil, shahi, and dates) in addition to different kinds of clothes for men, women and kids.
Sheikh Saleh Malek, identifier of Mumi District, commended the efforts of Khalifa Foundation in helping the needy and meeting their requirements.
He assured that these aids would significantly help in relieving suffers of tens of families for the next period and meeting their other needs.
In this regard, the people of the Golden Square in Mumi District expressed their thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for its support to the people of Socotra.
