Socotra Island was under concern and interest of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, as any one visits Socotra would notice the social, economic and developmental improvement.
The support of Khalifa Foundation draws smiles on faces of the people in different cities and villages across Socotra, which contributed to improvement of the situation in Socotra in different fields including (health, electricity, water, education …etc.) as Khalifa Foundation worked on improvement of quality of life.
In line with the continuous concern with helping the people of Socotra, Khalifa Foundation teams work on distribution of Ramadan food assistance (Ramadan Merr) in order to help the needy families during Ramadan.
Grants of the United Arab Emirates is unlimited as it keeps helping the people through Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Teams of Khalifa Foundation are distributed across Socotra in accordance with the set plan to move to the remote villages and cities to deliver assistance.
