In a joyful celebration, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, honored the winners in Quraan Memorization Competition launched and supported by Khalifa Foundation in line with the nine charity initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan.
During the celebration, which was held in the headquarter of Sultan in Socotra with presence of group of sheikh and leaders and members of evaluation committee, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei awarded financial awards and gifts to 28 male and female winners in different categories. He commended the large turnout by the male and female individuals in Socotra.
His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei instructed with payment of financial awards to large group of participants aiming at supporting and motivating them to memorize Quraan and participate in the following competitions, which would be held in Ramadan.
It was worth noting that this competition started in the final third of the holy month of Ramadan including 4 categories: 10 parts, 5 parts, 3 parts and 1 part with participation of 120 competitors.
This initiative was one of the nine initiatives supported and funded by Khalifa Foundation, which the people largely appreciated and welcomed, since it positively affect the people and community.
