With a support by Khalifa Foundation, Dexam Power Company replaced an old power generator with another new one with a capacity of 250 KW in Al Samod Street in 26th September District in Hadiboh in order to increase electricity frequency to meet increased requirements of people.
The Socotra Archipelago witnessed an expansion of electricity and changing overhead network with underground cables for free to provide electricity for people of Socotra all the day as well as installation of power generators with support by Khalifa Foundation.
Engineer Ahmed Adel mentioned that Dexam Power replaced the power generator in Al Samood Street in Hadiboh due to the increased loads, as the old generator with a capacity of 100 KW was replaced with a new one with a capacity of 250 KW.
People of the district expressed their gratitude for the outstanding effort in meeting needs of people for electricity. He also added that the people of Socotra would never forget the outstanding effort by teams of Khalifa Foundation.
