Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation implemented 66 qualifying courses in computer, English and kindergarten in 2020.
Mr. AbdelRahman Al Akhras, Deputy Director of Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation, mentioned that continuation of activities of the training and qualification center for students and employees of Socotra was in line with concern by Khalifa Foundation in Socotra.
He mentioned that Socotra Institute implemented 66 courses in computer, English and kindergarten for the benefit of 727 male and female students divided as follows: 44 English courses for 445 students, 14 computer courses for 162 students, and 8 kindergarten courses for 120 students. He highlighted that the Institute organized scholarships for 38 male and female students to people of Socotra to join universities in Egypt.
He also highlighted that Socotra Institute organized computer and English courses for employees in different government and private sector as well as providing several consultation services.
It was worth noting that Socotra Institute included group of foreign qualified teaching staff, which promoted benefit for students. He also implemented free courses on recycling with different technical forms with support of Khalifa Foundation.
In addition, Socotra Institute launched wide cleaning campaigns in Hadiboh to raise awareness of people of Socotra.
