The Iftar initiative for the fasting persons in Socotra Governorate continues its daily efforts in distributing ready-made meals to fasting people in the city of Hadiboh and its surroundings throughout the holy month of Ramadan, with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The initiative has increased the number of meals distributed on a daily basis from 500 to 800 meals since the 15th of Ramadan, distributed by the teams of Khalifa Foundation before the time of Iftar in two locations, the first near the Shuqma Tour in front of the Community College and the second in Majlis of Sultan Ali Issa bin Afrar.
The initiative contributed to the provision of ready-made Iftar meals to residents and passersby from the first day during the blessed month, which coincides with other humanitarian and charitable activities carried out by the Emirati White Hands, including distributions of breakfasts for fasting people in mosques and the Holy Quran competition, in addition to continuous service and development work.
For their part, the people of Socotra expressed their appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation initiative to break the fast and its efforts in providing ready-made Ramadan meals to families and passers-by in the city, which helps in providing them with a delicious breakfast during the days of the holy month.
