Honoring the Distinguished Students and Teachers of Al Zahraa Secondary School for the Academic Year 2019 -2020

With support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the distinguished students and teachers of Al Zahraa Secondary School were honored yesterday Sunday, November 15, 2020.

With presence of Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Director General of Education Office in Socotra; number of directors general; and coordinator of Khalifa Foundation as well as number of social leaders and parents, the honoring ceremony started with verses from Quran followed by a speech by Principal of the School, Mr. Mohamed Moaaz, in which he welcomed the audience and congratulated all students and teachers to be honored during the ceremony.

In his speech, Mr. Mohamed Moaaz  commended the role of Education Office and Education Directorate as well as support of Khalifa Foundation to hold such honoring ceremony.

Staff Brigadier Saleh Ali, Undersecretary of Education Ministry in Socotra, highlighted the importance of such ceremony of honoring that was considered as a motivation for students to compete to be on the top. He also commended the role of Khalifa Foundation in supporting education process in Socotra including on the top of list contracting with graduates of Socotra and others to fill the gap of education staff as well as provision of the curriculum books.

In this regard, Mr. Fouad Ali Saeed, Director of Education Office in Hadiboh, addressed a speech to congratulate students and teachers to be honored, and highlighted the outstanding effort of the school administration and teachers through the education process.

Student Rehab Abdullah addressed the speech of the distinguished students expressing pride for addressing such speech on behalf of other students and expressed gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation, the main supporter to Socotra, for such honoring ceremony.

During ceremony, there were song and poetry as well as distribution of certificates and honorary shields to supporters of the ceremony and education process, which were presented by Khalifa Foundation, as well as valuable awards for the distinguished students and teachers.
