Competitors of the 4th Ironman Competition as well as the organizing committee received honoring awards and financial awards presented by Khalifa Foundation as a motivation for participating in such event and concerning with sport with presence of Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, Sport Official at Khalifa Foundation, as well as Ahmed Hazoom, Head of Association Office in Socotra, Sheikh Ali Salem Omar, Member at Development Committee, and group of association members and club leaders.
Ahmed Hazoom asserted that presenting these awards was in line with concerning of Khalifa Foundation with supporting sportsmen and motivating them for more sport achievements and promotion of skills for better performance to participate in different competitions nationally, regionally and globally.
Sheikh Ali Salem Omar motivated the youth for utilization of support of Khalifa Foundation in promotion of their skills for physical and emotional benefit.
Sheikh Omar added that achievements with support of Khalifa Foundation in relation with concerning with sportsmen were outstanding, and we expect that sport would reach to all locations across Socotra.
Participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for such outstanding support to sports across Socotra.
