People from different across Socotra expressed their appreciation for the great effort and successful ironman competition, which witnessed outstanding effort by competitors with large number of audience.
The audience expressed their happiness and were impressed for the successful organization by the Football Association Office in Socotra with support of Khalifa Foundation. 36 Competitors from different clubs across Socotra participated in this competition. In addition, the audience commended that great effort in preparations and arrangements for the event to be distinguishable as it appeared.
Socotra Online was present since launch of competition till its end to document and reflect impression of official leaders, clubs and competitors as well as importance of continuation of sport activities.
Saeed Malek, Counselor of Sport Sector at Khalifa Foundation, mentioned that this competition would be considered as a significant motivation to the youth to maintain their health.
Ahmed Hazoom, Head of Football Association Office in Socotra, asserted that competition was successful and witnessed large and distinguishable audience. He also commended the great support by Khalifa Foundation to improvement of skills of the youth in Socotra.
Nasser Abdel Rahman Ahmed, Secretary General of Al Helal Club, expressed his happiness for holding such event for the fourth year by Khalifa Foundation, and commended its effort and generous support.
Abdel Nasser Khamis Othman, the first position winner, expressed his happiness for participating in such event and being in the first position. He also added that competition was hard, and needed fit body and full energy to keep up with competition.
Abdel Rahman Abdel Aziz asserted that the competition was distinguishable in various stages and was enough to test power and fitness of competitors.
In turn, audience expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all organizers of the event for the great effort.
