Khalifa Foundation continued sending food vehicles to different districts and villages across Socotra to help people in ending their suffering. Teams of Khalifa Foundation arrived to (K) Village in east Socotra with a load of food including (dates, rice, flour, salt, sugar, oil, and tea). 490 families in 14 districts benefited from this assistance.
Official at Khalifa Foundation highlighted that arrival of these vehicles was in line with the relief plan in all districts across Socotra, which was in line with the developmental activities to upgrade standard of life in Socotra.
During distribution of food and relief assistance, Awsan Jamaan Seufi, Identifier of the Village, commended support by the UAE to Socotra by provision of food essentials, and thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for this assistance.
Ahmed Thani expressed his happiness for arrival of this food assistance, and thanked Khalifa Foundation for this generous initiative and continuous help.
