Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent food assistance vehicles to the 26th September district in the capital Hadiboh. The assistance included flour, rice, sugar, tea, oil, salt, and dates. 1320 families benefited from this assistance.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people. Sheikh Fahmi, Identifier of the 26th September district mentioned that Khalifa Foundation was always the initiator in supporting and helping people of Socotra in general and people of the 26th September district in specific, which was considered as the second largest district of density population in Hadiboh. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for to Khalifa Foundation for the effort in providing needs of people of Socotra.
Salem Mohamed Al Alaimi indicated that the UAE has been the initiator and the main supporter to people of Socotra. It helped Socotra in moving out from the bad situation. He also indicated that the UAE has been the main supporter to people of Socotra in all fields.
Abdullah Fahd asserted that the UAE, represented by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, worked on meeting needs of people in all fields.
Saeed Al Fan indicated that Khalifa Foundation, the UAE hand of charity in Socotra, worked on helping people of the 26th September district in line with the series of distributions to honor the people of Socotra.
Sheikh Ali Saleh commended the great effort of the UAE teams in Socotra, and commended their effort in delivering assistance to people of the district.
