With support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Camels Decoration Competition was held in Asetro District in Zayed City 1 in the Socotra Archipelago with large number of audience, who expressed their passion of such competition.
The head of events of Nujed Autumn Festival expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation, the organizing committee and all participants. In addition, he wished that all participants would be able to win the competition during the following years, as there was a plan for continuation of camels events in Socotra annually, as it received a remarkable attention by the people.
Abdullah Selim Saeed, Sheikh of Asetro (Zayed 1), mentioned that the competition received a large attention by the owners of camels after organizing different events by Khalifa Foundation.
In this regard, the winner Ahmed Suliman expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation, as it would be considered as a heritage competition, as it would contribute to taking care of camels for other competitions.
The second position competitor Salem Ahmed Balhorhor mentioned that the competition witness large number of audience and participants thanks to Khalifa Foundation.
Mohamed Ajazan, who won the third position, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for encouraging owners by organizing such events.
