There is no doubt that Eid Al Adha is very joyful for the Muslims as it is a sacred Islamic event that the people respect across the world, as they welcome such days with sacrifice and new clothes with happiness and joy among the people.
This Eid is different from any other previous Eid, as mentioned by the people who expressed this to Socotra Online. Socotra Online met many sheikhs and people to reflect their opinions with regard to importance of these blessing days in Socotra in addition to the developmental and humanitarian role of Khalifa Foundation in Socotra.
Sheikh Gharib Abdullah mentioned that the people of Socotra witnessed such days with security and stability, and highlighted that the outstanding charity efforts by Khalifa Foundation increased happiness and joy of the people. In addition, he expressed his thanks and deep appreciation to sheikhs and leaders of the United Arab Emirates.
Sheikh Ahmed Ghaleb bin Yaqoub, Head of Tribal Union of the Western Coastline, highlighted that this Eid was very joyful, as the people witnessed great security and stability. In addition, he highlighted the role of the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation, which played a great role in happiness of joy among the people.
Sheikh Abdullah Seif Suliman, one of people of the Socotra Archipelago, mentioned that Eid Al Adha was a great day that they all loved, and happiness of the people of Socotra was high because of security and stability on the Island. He also commended the role of Khalifa Foundation and mentioned that the United Arab Emirates considered the people of Socotra as part of its community without any differences among the people.
