The people of Abd Al Kuri Island expressed their happiness and joy for the approval of implementation of group of residential and service projects on the Island by Khalifa Foundation to have a better life. The people welcomed the delegation of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, which visited the Island to recognize the needs and approved group of vital and important projects including approval of 65 residential units for the people of Abd Al Kuri Island.
During the visit, the team checked the lands, on which the project of residential units, school and 4 primary schools would be implemented. In addition, the team checked the completion operations of the governmental compound, maintenance and qualification of 5 mosques, configuration of a medical center, maintenance of solar power station, maintenance of water desalination station, and addition of 2 power generators for the Island.
The representative of the local authority, Ghalib Al Jamhi, praised the effort and support of Khalifa Foundation on the Island, and highlighted that the projects approved by the Foundation would work on providing the Island with better quality of life.
