In line with the great effort of Khalifa Foundation in the Socotra Archipelago, teams of Khalifa Foundation were ready for searching and rescuing flights after blockage of many main roads due to the heavy rain, which lasted for 5 successive days during Bhavan Cyclone.
The gyrocopter team performed intensive flights for 3 days to reach to the remote and mountain areas to check the people needs and supply them with food and medicine assistance.
The team worked, in cooperation with Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, on a plan to transport the patients from all cities and villages after blockage of many main roads linking between Hadiboh and the western, southern and eastern regions.
In line with the continuous follow-up by His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, the team worked on supporting many people across Socotra during Bhavan Cyclone.
