Competitions were ongoing in events of Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival. Group (3) of the Poet of Socotra Competition was very competitive and astonishing, from which the poet/ Saeed Dafaten Tarbek was qualified.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of the audience. Mr. Omar Qablan, Director of Culture Office in Socotra, mentioned that the competition has been very interesting; as it highlighted the Socotri terms and words.
He added that the final round would include three poets, which would help in recognizing the winner.
The poet/ Osman Baidobah, Member of Judges Board, mentioned that the heritage festival was concerned with highlighting the Socotri heritage including all types of arts, especially poetry.
He also thanked Khalifa Foundation for caring for revival of the heritage of Socotra.
