Gyrocopter team kept transporting patients to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital.
During the past few days, the team did a great work under follow-up and large welcome of the people of the districts and villages of the Socotra Archipelago. The team ambulanced and transported patients to the hospital after being impossible to go to the hospital due to the road blockage due to tropical depressions.
The team helped in saving lives of tens of patients with their companions, and transported the team of doctors working in the Saudi Field Hospital. It largely contributed to relieving their suffering due to the road blockage.
This work was largely welcomed by the people of Socotra, who in turn expressed their thanks to Khalifa Foundation and its Representative in Socotra, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei for their humanitarian activities and support to the community of Socotra during these conditions.
