Gratitude and Appreciation by People of Socotra to Khalifa Foundation for Improvement of Electricity in Socotra

Districts of the Socotra Archipelago witnessed continuous work by teams of Khalifa Foundation to replace the old power pillars with new ones with higher capacity to cover needs of people.

An official at Dexam Power mentioned that these works was in line with the plan of the company to support Khalifa Foundation to solve the problem of weak electricity frequency. He also mentioned that the new pillars would help in improvement of electricity in Socotra as a preparation for summer.

Socotra Online met group of Sheikhs, leaders and citizens to reflect their feedback. Fahmi Al Theqali, Identifier of 26th September, expressed happiness of people of 26th September for such effort to solve their problems. He also expressed gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the continuous developmental and humanitarian support in different fields.

Mohamed Saad Jamaan, Member of Local Council in Hadiboh, commended the great support by Dexam Power and Water Technology sponsored by Khalifa Foundation to improve electricity sector. He added that people of Socotra appreciated such effort in providing people of Socotra with electricity around the clock free-of-charge.

Sameh Abdullah Moqbel, Identifier of 30th November, expressed his appreciation to Dexam Power for responding to requests of people of Socotra, and thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for immediate response.

Citizen Saleh Jamaan Ahmed mentioned that improvement works to support electricity sector sponsored by Khalifa Foundation would be reflected by great appreciation for effort of the Foundation in helping people.

Sheikh Mohamed Mubarak commended the great effort by the United Arab Emirates for the humanitarian works to help people of Socotra in different fields.
