Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation continued its free training courses on recycling plastic waste into works of art with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
Large number of students, from 7 to 18 years old, registered for the courses aiming at learning these skills to contribute to elimination of plastic waste and utilization of the same in creative way for the benefit of the whole community.
Socotra Online was present to reflect the great efforts of the international instructors in addition to impressions of students and participants. The international Sudanese instructor, Alaa Al Den, mentioned that the course would help in keeping the streets clean, as the people would work on transferring plastic waste into works of art.
He also highlighted that the courses were instructed by large-experienced instructors for the benefit of all participants.
Student Yasser Ali Salem expressed his wish to attend the course, as it would be considered very important for elimination of the plastic waste and garbage and would help in preservation of environment. He also commended the great effort of Khalifa Foundation and Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation.
Mr. Sameer Saeed Salem, parent of student in the Institute, assured that such course would be considered as one of the best courses in Socotra, and would witness large number of registration because of its importance. He also commended the outstanding effort of Khalifa Foundation in all fields, and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for such opportunity for the people of Socotra to save their community.
