The meeting of Football Association and Sport Clubs in Socotra presided by head of Football Association Office in Socotra and with presence of Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, Sport Official at Khalifa Foundation, discussed the preparations of clubs for participation in ironman competition, which would be organized by Khalifa Foundation.
The meeting discussed procedures to be taken for achievement of successful competition and ensure safety of participants, as it would be considered as one of the most important sport competitions for the large number of audience.
Captain Ismail Al Junaibi asserted that the competition would be organized in line with instructions of His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation in Socotra, who was concerned with sport activities in Socotra.
Holding this competition reflected the outstanding efforts afforded by Khalifa Foundation in organizing and hosting sport competitions on the Socotra Island, which would contribute to promote its reputation.
