Teams of Khalifa Foundation deliver food assistance to the people of Maabed in Al Ashaari avenue in east of Socotra.
With presence of head of Development Committee, Sultan Ali Essa bin Afrar, Khalifa Foundation launched its relief program in district in east of Socotra in line with its humanitarian activities across Socotra to help the people in arrangement of their needs.
Sultan Ali Essa bin Afrar highlighted that launch of such food assistance during Eid Al Adha to help the people during such days, and highlighted that the Committee supervised the distribution of assistance to all villages and districts in Socotra.
In this regard, Sheikh Yahia Ahmed Saad Al Ashaari mentioned that the assistance arrived to Al Ashaari avenue with support of Khalifa Foundation targeting 232 families.
Ahmed Saeed expressed his thanks to the field teams of Khalifa Foundation for the outstanding effort.
Furthermore, Sheikh Ahmed Hamodi, on behalf of people of Maabed, commended the great role of the United Arab Emirates for the concern with delivery of assistance to the people in Al Ashaari avenue contributing to helping the people during such hard times.
