Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in Socotra conducted a field survey in Qaara district in southwest Socotra to check conditions of people closely.
An official at Khalifa Foundation indicated that this field survey aimed at checking conditions of the districts; recognizing the most important requirements; and recording the social affairs cases that would need support such as widows, elderly and patients.
The team added that results of the survey would be raised to the concerned authorities at Khalifa Foundation for adoption in order to provide them with monthly financial assistance to help them in provision of their life requirements.
In turn, people of Qaara commended efforts of Khalifa Foundation and concern of its officials with helping people of Socotra in all fields and at all times.
