People of the Socotra Archipelago, with a loyalty march Sheikh Zayed District in Daihmed, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its great support to people of Socotra.
People of Socotra gathered in front of Sheikh Zayed Mosque in the District to express their gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for the outstanding developmental projects in different fields. They also announced participation of artistic teams and poets from Daihmed to demonstrate UAE achievements and developmental projects that were implemented by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent, UAE Humanitarian Hands in Socotra, which in turn revived the infrastructure of the Socotra Archipelago by provision of electricity, water and roads in addition to improvement of education and health care.
People of Socotra asserted that they wished to express loyalty and thank UAE for the kind support to people of Socotra through such march. People of Daihmed raised signs and photographs of rulers of UAE to express their gratitude and appreciation.
