Community College in Socotra launched two English and computer courses for students and employees at the Community College with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation aiming at improvement of capabilities of students and employees in these two fields. It would last for 3 months and aimed at qualifying 48 male and female students.
Dr. Sofia Al Kathiri, Coordinator of courses at the College, highlighted that these courses were in line with concerning of the college with continuation of process of qualification of employees and students as well as improvement of their academic capabilities in order to keep up with the academic and digital improvements.
In this regard, Dr. Hamdi Al Tantawi, English Instructor of English course, mentioned that the course would focus on upgrading communication skills of students to use English in academic field. He also commended the great role of Khalifa Foundation in implementation of academic courses in order to improve skills of students and employees.
Fatima Ali, student in the English course, expressed her happiness for participating in this course as it was very important for improvement of skills and capabilities of students to acquire knowledge and get a proper job opportunity to achieve their future targets.
AbdelRahman Abdullah, Student in Computer course, mentioned that this course was very important in development of skills and acquisition of advanced knowledge.
