The Emirati Red Crescent launched a project of distribution of ready-to-eat meals among the fasting people in the mosques in Socotra today.
The project aimed at feeding the passer-by in many mosques across Socotra including 11 mosques in Hadiboh and its suburbs covering 950 fasting people. In addition, the project aimed at distribution of financial amounts to people in-charge in the determined mosques on the main roads to contribute to provide meals ready prepared by the needy women to support them financially.
This project was in line with group of initiatives and campaigns announced by the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation in Socotra to be implemented and supported during this holy month.
