Socotra Island witnessed a painful and tragic traffic accident, which resulted in death of one person and injury of 26 persons with critical, medium and minor injuries.
Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Socotra announced emergency in all medical departments after reporting such accident, and provided those injured persons with the required medical treatment.
An official at Khalifa Hospital asserted that the Hospital staff afforded all possible efforts to mitigate suffers of those injured people and help their families to overcome such worry. He also highlighted that the hospital would be ready to receive any emergencies after being provided with the modern medical devices and required medical staff.
In accordance with information obtained by Socotra Online, the accident was in Gheba district, as a car transporting 27 persons had an accident resulting in 1 dead and 26 injured.
