Distribution of Schoolbooks to Students of Ataya Model School by Khalifa Foundation

In line with support and concern by Khalifa Foundation to education sector in the Socotra Archipelago, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation distributed schoolbooks to students of Ataya Model School. It was made in presence of Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Director General of Education Office in Socotra; Mr. Fouad Ali Saeed, Director of Education Office in Hadiboh; and Mr. Mohamed AbdelRahman, Coordinator of Education at Khalifa Foundation.

Distribution of schoolbooks to students of Ataya Model School was in line with preparation for the new academic year by Khalifa Foundation. It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation afforded great efforts to support education sector in Socotra.

During distribution, Ms. Amal Saeed, Principal of Ataya Model School, mentioned to Socotra Online that Khalifa Foundation afforded great efforts to support education process in Socotra in line with its concern with preparation for the new academic year. It used to help in solving problems that would face students during the academic year.

In turn, Ms. Nahed Mohamed Salem expressed her appreciation for distribution of schoolbooks to students of Ataya Model School that would help in easing process of education and solving problems that would face students during the academic year.

Ms. Rasha Eid Ibrahim commended the effort of teams of Khalifa Foundation for distribution of schoolbooks to students annually in line with concerning with continuation of the academic year properly. She also added that efforts of Khalifa Foundation contributed to improvement of student levels through provision of necessary school equipment.

It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation afforded great effort in supporting education sector across the Socotra Archipelago, as it support education offices in Hadiboh and Qalansiyah financially as well as provision of 440 teachers; 40 Yemeni teachers and 10 Egyptian teachers, in addition to printing 80,000 schoolbooks. In addition, the Foundation maintained 40 schools and provided schools with tables and chairs.
