With the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, Khalifa Foundation launched the initiative of distribution of ready-made meals to fasting passers-by in Socotra.
Teams of Khalifa Foundation were seen in streets of Socotra prior to Iftar to deliver meals to passers-by.
Hundreds of passers-by benefited from these meals, who in turn expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation.
This initiative was largely welcomed by people of Socotra, who commended the high-quality of meals and timing of presence of teams of Khalifa Foundation in streets prior to Iftar.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation provided people of Socotra with various financial assistance to mitigate people and arrange their needs.
Head and member of Development Committee commended concern of Khalifa Foundation with provision of assistance to people across Socotra, and asserted that the UAE has been the main supporter to people of Socotra at all times.
In turn, people of Socotra expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for such positive initiatives.
