In extent of permanent interest of upgrading the education system in the Archipelago, the team of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation distributed school books to students of Salmeen School for Primary Education in Socotra yesterday.
An official shared that the batch distributed today at Salmeen School contained 1052 school books for the benefit of 342 students at all levels of the school, as part of its strategic plan to support education on the island and advance its reality to a better level.
He pointed out that the institution’s provision of the batch will enable the daily keeping pace and its continuous recall and end the suffering of the book shortage facing the school.
For his part, Saad Saeed Shaqma’, Vice Principal of the School, expressed his happiness for the curriculum by the Khalifa Foundation, which continued to follow the school with the school books on an ongoing basis, extending his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its development efforts in Socotra Governorate in various fields of education.
Student Salem Nasser Mohammed thanked the school principal, its needs, maintaining the continuity of the educational process and its interest in educating the Socotri student and advancing his reality.
