Dexim Youth Club was honored as champion of Dam Al Akhwain Football Championship organized by the Club with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The Championship, in which 12 teams from different places across Dexim were participated and which lasted for more than one month, aimed at motivation of tourism and sport in different places and strengthening sport capabilities of the youth.
The Club was honored as champion after being in the final round with 4 points and winning against Al Akhwain Youth Club with 6 goals to none and draw in the match against Qalb Akhwain, which has become in the second position with two points.
Ali Sabaab, Director General of Youth and Sports; Ismail Al Junaibi, Sports Official at Khalifa Foundation; Jamaan Ahmed, President of Football Association, honored the winning teams in addition to player Selim Helal from Qalb Al Akhwain as best player, Ali Saad Essa from Al Etihad as best Goalkeeper, and Striker Ahmed Abdullah Sherif as top scorer.
In turn, Dam Al Akhwain Club honored His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, for his generous support and encouragement of sports in the Archipelago.
