Dexim Power replaced a pillar in the line of Khalifa Hospital in Hadiboh today. The people were suffering from the lack of electricity, and Dexim Power responded to calls of the people and owners of shops. The pillar was damaged due to rain resulting from the tropical cyclone Bhavan, which lasted for more than one week.
This humanitarian activity was supported by Khalifa Foundation for the people of Socotra in line with its support to the people of Socotra in different fields, especially electricity.
In this regard, Socotra Online reflected the opinion of the people and owners of shops, who in turn expressed their thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation and its Representative His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei.
Engineer Amer Al Sabri said that the pillar capacity was little and could not handle the pressure. Therefore, Dexim Power replaced it with better one.
Mr. Ali Saad Shanqab praised the role of the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation and its Representative His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei.
Omar Saleh Al Deni, Owner of shop, said that the replacement of the pillar was for the interest of the people and owners of shops, and thanked the United Arab Emirates for its continuous support.
