The engineering teams of Dexim Power and Water Technology completed operations of laying foundation for construction of water tank in Salmaho in the west coast of Socotra.
The tank of 250,000 liters capacity is one of the main projects supported and funded by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. It will help hundreds of families in Salmaho, which is considered as one of the crowded districts in Socotra with lack of water. The people of Salmaho used to rent water tanks and pay large amounts for provision of water.
This project is one of several projects to be implemented by Khalifa Foundation across Socotra, where the people suffer from lack of water.
