Dexam Power and Water Technology replaced a pillar with a new one with a capacity of 400 ampere for the line of water and irrigation office and surrounding area to improve electricity. This improvement was after weakness of such line. Dexam Power replaced the pillar to meet the daily usage of electricity on the island.
Khalifa Foundation concerned, by hands of Dexam Power, with improvement of electricity in all places across Socotra and focused on integration of solar power plants soon.
An official in Dexam Power asserted that the new pillar with a capacity of 400 ampere would have an effective impact on electricity in the area that suffered from weakness of power. This was largely welcomed by people of Socotra, who in turn expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation.
