Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Socotra is the jewel of the hospital, as it provided excellent clinical services for all patients in addition to 24-hour emergency services.
It also provides several services including care giving for the pregnant since early days of pregnancy till birth delivery in addition to high risk pregnancy.
The wide experienced doctors and nurses at this department at the Hospital provide 24-hour integrated services all days of the week.
Assistant Docotr Abdel Moez Hassan, Head of Operations Department at Khalifa Hospital mentioned that Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology always welcomes birth delivery cases daily around the clock, and most of them are caesarian under supervision of specialized doctors.
Mona Mohamed Suliman, employee at Khalifa Hospital, mentioned that this department includes group of specialized doctors in addition to a consultant to welcome all cases of birth delivery, as Khalifa Hospital is the main hospital in Socotra to provide people with health care.
She also thanked Khalifa Foundation for its concern and care for health sector in Socotra.
