Department of Socotra International Airport Development Project carried out a sterilization campaign in Socotra International Airport today, with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The official responsible for this development project highlighted that the sterilization operations included all parts of the Airport and its furniture using the necessary equipment after departure of the local flight of Yemeni Airlines today in order to protect the Airport and its employees and travelers from diseases, especially, the novel coronavirus.
He also highlighted that the Department has been concerned with keeping up with the systems applicable in different international airports in relation with safety of travelers in order to raise category of the Airport and strengthen its capabilities. He also commended the role and continuous cooperation of Khalifa Foundation in promoting services in the Airport.
