Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided group of male and female students from Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation with a customer service course in the United Arab Emirates to be able to work in Dexim Power in Socotra. The course qualified the students to work in this vital facility to serve their people on the Island, which witnessed development and progress towards better conditions.
The course was provided by the Foundation within the concern of Khalifa Foundation and Dexim Power and Water Technology with qualifying the people of Socotra to serve the people on the Island and deal with systems and devices to keep up with the technology progress.
In this regard, Engineer Yasser Al Ani, Director General of Dexim Power and Water Technology, said that they provided the students with some guidelines pass the course successfully. He emphasized that the students should comply with the course and show good manner and diligence and said that he believed that these distinguished students from Socotra would help their island in the future.
Akram Abdullah Saad A Ghatnani, Former Director General of Electricity in Socotra, assured that the students selected for the course by Dexim Power and Water Technology would have a customer service course and added that their qualification would be a significant addition to the subscribers in electricity service in Socotra, funded by Khalifa Foundation.
Student Abdullah Salem Saad bin Afrar expressed his happiness for being selected to have this customer service course in the United Arab Emirates, and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leaders and people of the United Arab Emirates for keeping up with the exceptional conditions of Socotra.
Student Othman Mohamed Khamis Amer said that he successfully passed word, excel and windows courses in Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation, and expressed his happiness for being selected for the customer service course provided by Dexim Power and Water Technology. In addition, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its limitless support that helped in development of the Island.
