During 2020, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation concerned with sports sector and contributed to upgrading skills of the youth and sportsmen in Socotra. During the past July, Nujed Autumn Championship in Sheikh Zayed 1 in Satorah was implemented in Nujed, with winning of Al Nassr Club after defeating Nujed Club 5/4 in the final match.
In addition, sports sector at Khalifa Foundation organized the ironman championship, in which 40 competitors participated, and included 3 stages starting with swimming, running and biking.
In addition, Khalifa Foundation concerned with refurbishment of sport playgrounds in the remote areas to encourage the youth as well as provision of sport clothes.
Furthermore, Khalifa Foundation concerns with holding several events in 2021 that will improve skills of the youth across Socotra.
