Security commanders in Socotra asserted that the UAE support in different sectors would contribute to maintenance of safety of Socotra and would encourage security officers to perform their duties properly.
Brigadier-General Ahmed Saad Al Qadomi, Director General of Police in Socotra, asserted that the UAE has been the main supporter to people of Socotra, and highlighted that UAE support would be considered as a great promotion for police in Socotra.
Colonel Mohamed Hazoom, Deputy Director General of Police in Socotra, mentioned that UAE presence in Socotra was not first of kind, and it has a great role of support that would contribute to maintenance of safety in Socotra.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mubarak bin Qablan, Director General of Traffic Department in Socotra, commended the great support by Khalifa Foundation, as this support would help in arrangement of traffic and traffic violations.
Lieutenant-Colonel Abdullah Suliman Fadnahen, Director General of Immigration and Passports, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for the continuous support to security sector, through provision of furniture and vehicles.
