Continuous Sterilization of Khalifa Hospital to protect Visitors and Medical Staff from the Novel Coronavirus

Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation worked on sterilization of corridors and yards of Khalifa Hospital in Socotra in line with the precautionary measures taken by the Hospital Management aiming at protecting visitors and medical staff from insect-borne diseases. It would last for two days, twice a day at day and night shifts in line with the continuous support provided to people of Socotra to face COVID-19.

Socotra Online followed-up the operations of sterilization and reflected opinions of group of workers in the Hospital. AbdulRahman Mohamed Said, Nurse at Emergency Department, mentioned that Khalifa Foundation sterilized corridors and yards of Khalifa Hospital today against insect-borne diseases, which was not a strange deed by the United Arab Emirates. It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation provided the Hospital with modern and developed devices and equipment including CT Scan Device to help people of Socotra in avoiding travelling abroad for treatment.

Ahmed Mohamed Al Deximi, Nurse at Khalifa Hospital, said that Khalifa Foundation was always present in the Socotra Archipelago to provide all sterilization and disinfection tools to protect the Hospital from diseases. He added that Khalifa Foundation afforded every effort to meet needs of people of Socotra. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
